Chocolate City boss to step down as CEO in June

Audu who has been the head of Choc City since 2005 says it is high time for him to step down and let another person steer the ship.

 

Today, April 22, 2015 at the Nigerian Entertainment Conference, the Chief Executive Officer of Chocolate City Audu Maikori announced that he will be stepping down from his position.

He said that effective from June he will no longer be the CEO of the prominent Nigerian label. Audu who has been the head of Choc City since 2005 says it is high time for him to step down and let another person steer the ship.

He also announced that he will reveal his successor in June. During his decade long tenure as CEO, Audu Maikori has made the imprint rise to become one of the major labels in West Africa.

Successful acts in Chocolate City include BrymO, Jesse Jagz, M.I and Ice Prince.
