Maami star, Wole Ojo has revealed why he chose acting as a career even when many of his peers chose other professions.

In a recent chat with Punch Newspaper, the winner of the Amstel Box Office reality TV show revealed that he was challenged by his mum to pick up a career in acting having lived close to the popular TV station, NTA on Victoria Island, Lagos.

He further said that he was talking so much about all he saw on TV and his mum plainly told him that if he feels he's capable of replicating what he had seen on TV, then he should find his way to the station and prove himself.

Ojo said that statement not only spurred him to visit the TV station but also landed him a spot on kiddies television show, Kidivision 101 as a child actor.

Wole Ojo has since acted in various home movies that include Brave, The Child, The Maze, Everyday people, One Love, This Life, Tinsel, Lust and Facade.
