Uzo Aduba has been nominated for the 2016 Golden Globes "Best Supporting Actress in a TV Movie/Mini-Series" category, for her role in "Orange is the New Black."

"Orange Is the New Black" actress, Uzo Aduba, today received a Golden Globe Award nomination for "Best Supporting Actress in a Series/Limited Series or TV Movie," for her role in the comedy series as Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren.

Her character on show is portrayed as an emotionally unstable lesbian female inmate with a violent past.

Aduba was nominated alongside Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey), Regina King (American Crime), Judith Light (Transparent), and Maura Tierney (The Affair).

The comedy series "Orange is the New Black," was also nominated for "Best TV series, Comedy."

Currently Netflix's most watched series, The 13-episode third season of show premiered on June 11, 2015.

On April 15, 2015, the series was renewed for a fourth season, scheduled to premiere in 2016.

On Sunday, September 20, 2015, Uzo Aduba won an Emmy for 'Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.'

"OITNB" revolves around Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling), a woman in her thirties living in New York, who is sentenced to 15 months in Litchfield Penitentiary, a minimum-security women's federal prison.
