Uzo Aduba has been nominated for the 2016 Golden Globes "Best Supporting Actress in a TV Movie/Mini-Series" category, for her role in "Orange is the New Black."
"Orange Is the New Black" actress, Uzo Aduba, today received a Golden Globe Award nomination for "Best Supporting Actress in a Series/Limited Series or TV Movie," for her role in the comedy series as Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren.
Her character on show is portrayed as an emotionally unstable lesbian female inmate with a violent past.
Aduba was nominated alongside Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey), Regina King (American Crime), Judith Light (Transparent), and Maura Tierney (The Affair).
The comedy series "Orange is the New Black," was also nominated for "Best TV series, Comedy."
