A new 24-hour pan-African TV is set to launch on Gotv channel 97 on Thursday, 26 November, 2015.

The 24 hour channel will be showcasing an variety of African movies and more.

The new channel called TrybeTV will be showcasing premium content made up of Nigerian films, African films (from countries including Kenya, South Africa and Ghana), television dramas and various genres of feature programming.
There will also be original content produced by the entertainment channel including “Director’s Profile”, "One On One”, “On My Honour”, and “Rising Stars”.
TrybeTV is owned by Consolidated Media Associates (CMA). CMA owned by media expert Tajuddeen Adepetu is also the parent company of music channel Sound City, fashion channel Spice, ONTV, ON Max, Access 24, and Televista.
TrybeTV launches on MultiChoice’s DTT platforms including GOtv Lite, GOtv Value, GOtv Plus packages at 12 noon tomorrow.
