It's 17 years since the movie made its debut and there is no reason why it should not get a remake.

"Igodo" deserves a good and refreshing remake for a divergent, new and modern audience. Imagine a darker and bloodier "Igodo" with better special effects.

"Igodo" is a movie with a good story, and if there's a good story that needs an improvement, why not tell it again for the modern generation.

The 1999 movie was directed by Andy Amaechi, and stars Sam Dede, Amaechi Muonagor, Charles Okafor, Prince James Uche, Pete Edochie, Norbert Young among others.

It's been 17 years, but it's easy to remember the special effects that made the movie come off as a horror movie. You probably also remember watching the strong men of a land go into an evil forest in search of salvation for the land.
