The seventh season of "The Walking Dead" finally premiered on Sunday, October 23, 2016, revealing Steven Yeun (Glenn Rhee) and Michael Cudlitz (Abraham Ford) as Negan's victims.

Most viewers have described the episode as emotionally disturbing, violent, scary and sad.

While Abraham's death was violent, Glenn's death was traumatic. Negan’s first blows with his barbed-wire-covered bat left him injured, covered in blood, with one of his eyes bulging out.

Viewers took to Twitter to react to the episode and the deaths it came with.

After the 16th episode of "The Walking Dead‘s"  sixth season,“Last Day on Earth,” aired on Sunday, April 3, 2016, angry fans started a change.org petition aimed at convincing AMC to reveal which of their favourite cast met his or her end.

On the third episode of “The Walking Dead” season 6, titled “Thank You,” TWD 'killed' off Glenn Rhee. The episode which made it look like the character faced a gruesome death, was followed by the removal of his name from the program’s opening credit.

On an episode titled “Heads Up,” it was revealed that Glenn survived. The episode revealed that the walkers ate up Nicholas’ intestines, and Glenn pulled himself under the dumpster to stay alive, while Enid appeared, saving and providing him with water.
