Fans of "The Walking Dead" are not over the unexpected season six finale which had many angry, disappointed and shocked. The producers have spoken on the cliffhanger ending and fans being upset.
The 16th episode of "The Walking Dead‘s" sixth season, “Last Day on Earth,” aired on Sunday, April 3, 2016, and came with a cliffhanger that has fans petitioning.
The angry fans have started a change.org petition aimed at convincing AMC to reveal which of their favourite cast met his or her end.
“I would like AMC to show us who Negan killed in the Season 6 finale of The Walking Dead. We want this either in an interim episode that borders Season 6 and 7, or a short R-Rated webisode that shows us the death in all its bloody glory. Either of these are fine as long as it’s released before May 30th," the petition reads.
The episode which offered viewers their first look at Negan and his infamous Lucille, ended with Negan playing a game to decide who would be the first to meet Lucille.
As he made his decision, the camera angle switched to the position of his victim, leaving viewers to wonder who was on the receiving end as the scene faded out.
The season ended without revealing the identity of Negan's victim, leaving fans angry, shocked and disappointed.
