Zainab Balogun, Kenneth Okolie, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Jide Kosoko, Rachel Oniga attended the world premiere of "The Royal Hibiscus Hotel."

The world premiere of the movie held on Saturday, September 9, 2017, with Zainab Balogun, Kenneth Okolie, Kemi ‘Lala’ Akindoju, Jide Kosoko, Rachel Oniga and Toni Tones in attendance.

The Special Guest of Honour for the premiere was Mr Foli Coker, DG – Nigerian Development Tourism Commission.

A romantic comedy from EbonyLife Films, the movie is directed by Ishaya Bako, who directed the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award winning film, "Road to Yesterday."

"The Royal Hibiscus Hotel" stars Zainab Balogun, Deyemi Okanlawon, Kenneth Okolie, Akah Nnani, Kemi Lala Akindojuamong others.

In the romantic comedy, a disillusioned London chef visits Nigeria and struggles with her matchmaking mother and restoring the family's rundown hotel.

She's heartbroken when she discovers the man she loves is buying it.

The movie is the second EbonyLife film to have its world premiere at TIFF.

In 2016, "The Wedding Party," - a collaborationbetween EbonyLife Films, FilmOne Distribution, Koga and Inkbot - was among the eight Nollywood films selected to screen at the Toronto International Film Festivalas part of its City to City programme.

A Nigerian release date hasn't been announced for the movie, "The Royal Hibiscus Hotel."
