Years after Tarzan left the jungles of Africa for London, he gets invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament. Watch star studded trailer.
It has been years since the man once known as Tarzan (Alexander Skarsgård) left the jungles of Africa behind for a gentrified life in London as John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke, with his beloved wife, Jane Porter (Margot Robbie) at his side.
Now, he has been invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament, unaware that he is a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge, masterminded by the corrupt Belgian Captain Rom (Christoph Waltz).
Directed by David Yates, co-produced by Jerry Weintraub, and written by Stuart Beattie, Craig Brewer, John Collee, and Adam Cozad, the movie stars Alexander Skarsgård in the title role, alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Margot Robbie, Djimon Hounsou and Christoph Waltz.
Scheduled for release on July 1, 2016, the film will be dedicated to Weintraub's, who passed away on July 6, 2015.
