Nigerian actress Omoni Oboli has shared the poster for her upcoming movie “The First Lady”. “We can’t wait to unleash this movie that critics are calling ‘The best comedy seen in years’”, Oboli posted on her website.

The film written and directed by the Delta Sate born starlet is set to premiere on October 1, 2015. The comedy film stars the likes of Joseph Benjamin, Oboli, Yvonne Jegede, Alexx Ekubo, Chinedu Ikedieze, Udoka Oyeka and Tony Monjaro.

This is not the first movie by the actress; she made her debut as a director with ‘Being Mrs. Elliot’, which premiered at the Nollywood week Film Festival in Paris in June 2014.

"In a classic Cinderella like story, a prostitute, Michelle, is stuck in a world she couldn't escape from. Her hope that one day a Prince Charming would rescue her from it all seems lost. An heir to an empire, Kenechi, is transformed into a child by an overly ambitious uncle who wants the empire to himself. Bound by a shared destiny, Michelle finds that she might be doing the rescuing until she realises there's no escaping her pimp (Obama), who would do anything to keep her as his First Lady".
