Movie may not be getting a sequel, pulled off Paramount's schedule

Fans of Arnold Schwarzenegger's "Terminator Genisys" may not be getting a sequel, as movie has been pulled off its May 19, 2017 scheduled release date.

A sequel forundefinedwhich was previously scheduled for a May 19, 2017 release, has been replaced with the "Baywatch" ​ movie, which stars Zac Efron and Dwayne Johnson.

The 2015 film "Terminator Genisys" was a box office flop, $440.6m worldwide, but only took in $90m in the US.

In 2014, Paramount set out dates for "Terminator 2" and "Terminator 3", with the third set for June 2018.

The fifth installment in the Terminator series 'Terminator Genisys' features Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Jai Courtney, Jason Clarke, Matt Smith, Byung-Hun Lee, and JK Simmons.

Directed by Alan Taylor (Thor: Dark World), it was released in July 2015.
