The film features several of Nigeria’s new school actors including Kemi 'Lala' Akindoju, AMVCA winner Tope Tedela, Enyinna Nwigwe and Gregory Ojefua.
The Audrey Silva Company presents the official trailer for their upcoming production “Suru L’ere (patience pays)”. The recently released teaser clip gives an insight into the impressive comedy.
“This film is funny but it also shows the viewer how hard it is to make a decent living in our country”, said the director of the film Mildred Okwo.
“Our brand of comedy is conscientious. We want you to laugh, love and above all learn”, Okwo explained.
The film set in Lagos follows the life of a young, timid graduate Arinze (played by Seun Ajayi) desperate to beat his financial burdens. In his journey, he meets a charming go getter Omosigho (played by Beverly Naya). Their meeting shoots off a series of events that pressure Arinze into a get rich quick scheme.
The film features several of Nigeria’s new school actors including Kemi 'Lala' Akindoju, AMVCA winner Tope Tedela, Enyinna Nwigwe and Gregory Ojefua. It also features cameo appearances from the movie producer Rita Dominic, Linda Ejiofor, Kenneth Okolie and Bikiya Graham Douglas.
“Suru l’ ere” was written by Richard Odilu who ironically met the film director on social media network, Twitter. The producers of the film are yet to disclose the exact release date for the film. There are reports that it maybe released later this year or early 2016.
