New trailer introduces Jared Leto as The Joker

"Suicide Squad" is an upcoming American superhero film based on the DC Comics super villain team of the same name, which features the worst heroes ever.

An American superhero film based on the DC Comics supervillain team of the same name, the much anticipated film also stars Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and Jared Leto as The Joker.

It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity.

U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do.

However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?

It also stars  Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Jay Hernandez as El DIablo, Adam Beach as Slipknot, Common as Black Manta and undefined.

Despite the lukewarm responses "Batman vs Superman" received, DC Comics cinematic universe expects to set things right with the anticipated "Suicide Squad."

Following "Batman vs Superman" flop, "Suicide Squad" which is based on the DC Comics supervillain team of the same name, is expected to redeem DC Comics cinematic universe by bringing inapproximately $125 million when it debuts.

The movie is currently the most talked about movie on social media after it beat movies like "Jason Bourne (July 29)", "Ghostbusters (July 15)" and "Star Trek Beyond (July 22)."

Directed by David Ayer, "Suicide Squad" is scheduled for an August 5, 2016 release.
