The upcoming film centres on Pankhurst and her campaign to secure British women the right to vote in the late 19th and early 20th century.
Written by Abi Morgan and produced by Alison Owen, 'Suffragette' stars Meryl Streep, Carey Mulligan, Helena Bonham Carter, Ben Whishaw and Brendan Gleeson
"In late 19th and early 20th century, the foot soldiers of the early feminist movement were forced underground to pursue a dangerous game of cat and mouse with an increasingly brutal state in the quest for equal rights."
