Following the box office success of 'The Martian', Ellen DeGeneres has created a movie trailer titled 'Stuck On Uranus,' which parodies the Ridley Scott movie.

The parody video, which aired on Tuesday's Ellen DeGeneres Show, features Matt Damon reprising his role as astronaut Mark Watney, who finds himself abandoned on Uranus and not Mars.

The fake sequel trailer also stars DeGeneres as the head of NASA who calls on an 'expert of Uranus,' played by reality star Kim Kardashian.

Based on a best-selling novel, 'The Martian' stars Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig, Kate Mara, Michael Pena, Jeff Daniels, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Donald Glover .

Plot.

During a manned mission to Mars, Astronaut Mark Watney is presumed dead after a fierce storm and left behind by his crew. But Watney has survived and finds himself stranded and alone on the hostile planet. With only meager supplies, he must draw upon his ingenuity, wit and spirit to subsist and find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive.

Produced by Ridley Scott, Simon Kinberg, Michael Schaefer, Mark Huffam and Aditya Sood, 'The Martins' made its theatre debut on November 25, topping last weekend’s box office with $55 million.
