Movie is becoming a TV series on YouTube
Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum, who starred together in the first movie, will executive-produce the show.

The video sharing site has ordered a full season of the dance drama, which is based on the film franchise, and will be executive produced by Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum who starred together in the first movie.
The Tatums will be joined by all producers of the original franchise including Adam Shankman, Jennifer Gibgot and Meredith Milton.

The "Step Up" franchise launched in 2006, followed by "Step Up 2 The Streets" in 2008, which was followed by "Step Up 3D" in 2010. In 2012, "Step Up Revolution" was released, and followed by "Step Up All In" in 2014.

The original franchise has grossed more than $650 million at the global box office.
