Joke Silva, Ireti Doyle, Bimbo Akintola Taiwo Ajai-Lycett Perform "Hear Word" At Mushin Market

The stage drama directed by Ifeoma Fafunwa features our veteran Nollywood sweethearts Taiwo Ajai-Lycett, Joke Silva, Iretiola Doyle, Bimbo Akintola, Elvina Ibru, Kate Henshaw, Dakore, Ufuoma McDermott, Rita Edwards, Zara Ejoh, Debbie Ohiri , Odenike and several other actresses.

The cast, yesterday staged the play, Hear Word, at Mushin Market in Lagos on Wednesday. The show attracted a large audience despite the rain.

"Hear Word" will be staged at the MUSON Center in Lagos on May 17th 23rd, 24th, 30th and 31st 2014.

“Hear Word” the title of the stage drama is an exhilarating show which would showcase true stories of triumph from 20 different Nigerian women from all walks of life.

According to Fafunwa  “We are working towards pure art and Nigerian excellence as we highlight these real and difficult issues facing Nigerian women,” she said.

“It is a celebration of the Nigerian woman to be shared with the world. As the characters reveal themselves, you may recognize your sister, your mother, your friend, your wife and perhaps even yourself,”

Getting to see the women we love and admire, all on one stage is thrilling.
