Barack Obama and Michelle Obama's love story to be told in an upcoming movie 'Southside With You'.

The love story of Barack Obama and Michelle Obama will be portrayed in a forthcoming movie 'Southside With You'.

According to Deadline, the movie 'Southside with You' will revolve around the day Obama convinced Michelle to go on their first date.  is headed for the big screen.

Written and directed by Richard Tanne, the upcoming movie will have Tika Sumpter (The Haves and the Haves Not) play the young Michelle Obama.

No actor has officially been attached to the movie, but there have been reports that musician Drake or Michael B Jordan will play young Obama.

Michelle Obama famously rejected Obama's advances when they met at Sidley & Austin law firm in Chicago. She was a 25-year-old attorney and he was a 27-year-old summer associate.

The first lady once told Washington Post that she felt it would be tacky if they started to date because they were the only two black people at the firm.

According to 'author, David Mendell;

" meeting the man who would become her husband, Michelle Obama previously toldObama: "So we had lunch, and he had this bad sport jacket and a cigarette dangling from his mouth, and I thought: 'Oh, here you go. Here's this good-looking, smooth-talking guy. I've been down this road before.'"

The filming for 'Southside With You' will begin in July 2015 in Chicago.
