A 'Sons of Anarchy' spin-off which would focus on the Mayans motorcycle club, is in works at FX.

Spin-off of 'Sons of Anarchy' is in works

According to TVLine, series creator Kurt Sutter is currently in the opening stages of developing a new 'Sons of Anarchy' spin-off.

The upcoming spin-off will focus on the Mayans — the Oakland-based Hispanic MC gang.

In 2014, the FX biker drama wrapped up with a record breaking finale, which was seen by 9.2 million viewers.

The yet-to-be titled show will be executive produced by Sutter, while a showrunner is yet to be found for the show.

'Sons of Anarchy' is an American crime drama television series created by Kurt Sutter, about the lives of a close-knit outlaw motorcycle club operating in Charming, a fictional town in California's Central Valley.

The show centered on protagonist Jackson "Jax" Teller (Charlie Hunnam), initially the vice president of the club, who begins questioning the club and himself.
