Set to kick off with a two-hour special episode, NBC has announced the premiere date for Cop drama featuring Jennifer Lopez.
NBC has announced that the Cop drama 'Shades of Blue' which features singer and actress Jennifer Lopez, will premiere on Thursday, January 14, 2015, with a special two-hour episode.
The series which will replace 'The Player' on the network, stars Lopez as a New York City detective and single mother called Harlee Santos.
Detective Harlee Santos (Lopez) is an NYPD detective and single mother struggling with financial problems.
When she is caught up in an FBI anti-corruption probe, she must choose between doing the right thing for her daughter or covering up for her corrupt police co-workers.
'Shades of Blue' stars Dayo Okeniyi, Hampton Fluker, Sarah Jeffery, Warren Kole, Vincent Laresca, Ray Liotta and Drea De Matteo.
Created by Adi Hasak, the series is directed by Barry Levinson.
