Last night's episode of 'Scandal' was weird... Weird because it has been long fans had a happy ending from Shonda Rhimes.

  • Mellie won her election.

Finally, after much campaigning and strategies, Mellie won her senatorial election.

  • Fitz kcked Mellie out of the White House

Mellie's happiness didn't last for long as Fitz kicked her out after discovering that Papa Pope blackmailed her into giving up the list of juror in the B6-13 trial, who by the way were murdered by Huck.

  • Fitz fired Cyrus.

It's been a long time coming! Mellie isn't the only one leaving the White House. While she was making her presidential plans with Cyrus, Fitz stormed in and fired Cyrus.

  • Lizzie his new Chief of Staff.

We didn't see that coming, but we all knew Lizzie had something up her sleeves.

  • Papa Pope was brought down

Eli Pope will be spending  years in prison for stealing money from the Smithsonian, a plan well executed by Olivia Pope and Associates.

  • We will be seeing more of Mama Pope in next season.

In exchange for her silence about B6-13, Cyrus handed her a get-out-of-jail-free card.

  • Olivia Chose Fitz.

The episode ended with Fitz and Olivia passionately kissing on the Oval Office balcony. She chose him after Jake's "I am in love with you, but you are in love with him." "You want what's yours? Go and take it." speech.
