"Rahman" is a short film about the little joys of everyday life, coming to terms with loss and how certain fragments of societies are repeatedly overlooked.

In the movie, three kids; played by first time actors Hassan Mohammed, Kamsulum Bishara and Shreef Mohammed, are tasked with the responsibility of taking care of their family’s first Sallah Ram; a purchase made by their father (Mohammed Tom).

When the kids cross paths with an older neighborhood bully; played by Okunola Martin, things take a bad turn.

"Rahman" is directed by Seun Opabisi and co-written and co-produced with Kewa Oni.

Seun and Kewa are members of Loups Garous, a Lagos based film collective which they both forged in order to achieve their vision of directing truly original short form and long form stories, which are inspired by the world around them.

"Rahama" is set and filmed in Kara, a Lagos community famed more for its Ram Market than anything else.
