"I Do Not Think Any Celebrity Is a Role Model" - Nse Ikpe Etim

Should Celebrities be seen as role models? Actress speaks on celebrities being seen by the world as 'role models'.

Does our Celebrities' behaviour, success or failure influence the growing up of a child? Are they role models?

The phenomenal actress, Nse Ikpe Etim was a guest at the Pulse TV Studios where she spoke on celebrities being termed 'role models' by the society, thus expected to be perfect and flawless.

" I do not think any celebrity is a role model, my role model is my mother. I think that the family unit is where you should get everything you want.

If I choose to live my life in any which way, and someone doesn't quite like it, and that's how someone else likes it and decides 'this is how I want to be'.  I haven't asked you to do that, right?

What I am is being me. It is not the truth to say that if I'm a saint in a movie, then I will be a saint in real life, that would be a far cry, wouldn't it? (laughs).

And just as you are, you cannot decide 'Oh, I'm going to follow Nse all my life and Nse has to show me the way, how? na me born you? "
