Faces at Omoni Oboli's 'Being Mrs Elliot' Movie Premiere

Pulse.ng presents exclusive scoop from the premiere of the anticipated movie "Being Mrs Elliott"

It was a night of glitz and glamour  On Saturday 30th August 2014,  as Nollywood diva, Omoni Oboli  premiered her high budget movie and one of this year's most anticipated movie, 'Being Mrs Elliott.

The event had the creme de la creme of the Nigerian entertainment world gracing the red carpet. The movie which was produced by Omoni Oboli and Nnamdi Oboli, directed by Omoni Oboli, starring Majid Micheal, Omoni Oboli, Lepacious Bose,  Chika Chukwu, AY Makun, Seun Akindele, Uru Eke, Syvia Olchy, premiered in style at the Silverbird Galleria, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Omoni Oboli who directed the movie as her directorial debut sizzled in a white dress by Mai Atafo.

The event had celebrities like Emem Isong, Susan Peters, Nnamdi Oboli, Linda Ejiofor, Daniel K Daniel, Chika Chukwu, Uru Eke, Michelle Dede, Belinda Effah, Halima Abubakar, AY Makun, OC Ukeje, Lala Akindoju, Seun Akindele, Yolanda Okereke,  Uduak Isong Oguamanam, and others.

Speaking at the event Omoni said “I am grateful to all of you for being here. It has been a long and tough journey but thank God, here we are today. This story is dear to my heart and I hope that you feel the same way too at the end of this event. I am grateful to all our sponsors without whom I would not have been able to do this. Thanks and I love you all very much.”

The movie revolves around two women, in a simple twist of fate, find their worlds colliding with each other. Their lives are turned upside down as they meet two men, who are on a different path in life until unusual circumstances bring the women into their lives.

In a maze of deception, lust, pain, jealousy and intrigues their lives are rearranged in ways that they did not foresee as they try to make sense of finding love in unusual places.
