Ghanaian Production Company Obibini Pictures recently obtained rights to Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's short story "On Monday of Last Week."
"On Monday of Last Week" is an adaptation of a short story of the same name from Adichie’s collection, "The Thing Around Your Neck."
Featuring Nigerian actress, Chinasa Ogubagu, in the lead role of Kamara, the film follows a Nigerian woman on her journey to self-realization. Kamara takes on a nanny job caring for Josh, the five-year old son of Tracy and Neil, an interracial couple living in an upscale urban home.

Introducing 4-year old model, Farouk James Prempeh in his acting debut as Josh, this cast promises to electrify audiences with their moving depiction of Adichie’s story.
