Omoni Oboli is turning movie into a TV series
The "Wives on Strike" TV series features Omoni Oboli, Chioma Chukwuka, Ufuoma McDermott and Uche Jombo.

Back in 2016, one of the biggest cinema movies was"Wives on Strike," which grossed over 70 million naira.
In March, the actress took to Instagram to tease an upcoming project - a TV series. Recently, Oboli has put up set photos of herself alongside Kehinde Bankole, Uche Jombo, Chioma Chukwuka and Ufuoma McDermott.
While she is yet to officially announce the TV series, Pulse Movies has learnt that the filmmaker is adapting her 2016 movie for TV.
The series will feature the above-mentioned lead cast of the movie, and is being directed by Oboli, who is popular for "Okafor's Law," "Being Mrs Elliott" and "First Lady."
The 2016 movie, "Wives on Strike," follows the story of a group of market women who decide to take matters into their own hands against their husbands in a bid to stir them into standing up for a young girl whom they wanted to protect from the wishes of her own father.
The 2016 movie also starred Kalu Ikeagwu, Julius Agwu and Kenneth Okonkwo, whose return for the TV series is yet to be confirmed.
