Nollywood Vs Death Wave

2011 has been an eventful yet sorrowful year for the Nollywood movie industry. The loss of movie practitioners has had the industry in a twist as to the alarming death rate recorded this year. Only in November, three major practitioners: marketer Chinedu Nwani, Producer Daniel Iyamu and Producer cum marketer, Azubike Udensi all lost their lives.

The situation has caused the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) president, Segun Arinze, to seek the intervention of the Almighty. He called for a prayer and deliverance session which was heavily attended by members of the industry to avert more losses. The deliverance session was held at Lagoon Restaurant.

We pray for God’s intervention as well, but we also wonder why the deliverance took place at a ‘Restaurant’ whatever happened to the house of God? (just saying)
