Nollywood Veteran, Justus Esiri Passes On

Less than a week after the unfortunate passing of pop diva, Goldie, the Nigerian entertainment industry has again been thrown into mourning as legendary Nollywood actor, Justus Esiri has passed on. The amiable actor who was father to popular musician Dr Sid was known for his excellent interpretation of movie roles. Details of his death are as yet unknown, but we'll keep you posted as they unfold.

Esiri (Member of the Order of Nigeria) who is a veteran of Nollywood came into limelight with his role on the 80's soap opera, Village Headmaster. Don Jazzy, Mavin label boss of son, Dr Sid had earlier taken to Twitter to express his condolence.

Esiri would be sorely missed in the industry for his great acting skills. May his soul rest in peace.
