Nollywood actresses, Monalisa Chinda, Ibinabo Fiberesima and Rita Dominic are some of the three top celebrities that would miss Oronto Douglas, the late aide to outgoing president, Goodluck Jonathan.

Though several Nigerian movie practitioners would for a long time mourn the man, who is believed to have channeled the presidency’s gaze on Nollywood, these three actresses would miss him more for different reasons.

Pulse investigation showed that the late barrister have impacted greatly in the relationship between these actresses and the outgoing president and the presidency as a whole.

Sources disclosed that Douglas was the brain behind the presidency’s decision to throw his weight behind the Actors Guild of Nigeria as well as receive the governing body of actors in Aso Villa on different occasions.

Fiberesima, it was gathered, had been close to the late aide to the president as a result of their involvement in the growth of the Niger Delta, thus, it was easy for her to reach out for her Niger Delta brother to get the president’s listening ear after she became the guild’s president.

As for Chinda and Dominic, sources claimed that their imbued talent has caught late Douglas’ fancy so much that he had taken them on his wings to ensure they get support through the presidency.

It is even alleged in some quarters that the strong support and love for the outgoing president by these three actresses had always been as a result of their belief in the Bayelsa born president through the late Douglas.
