On Friday, September 25, 2015, ABC announced that it has renewed 'Mistresses' for a fourth season.

According to the network, the show which ended its third season with a major cliffhanger, will return with 14 episodes, one more than its 2015 run.

In the third season of show, Joss went to jail, Harry landed a reality show, and Karen had a threesome, now who wouldn't want a continuation of the drama?

When the show returns in 2016, Jennifer Esposito, whose character was last seen attempting suicide in her prison set, would not return.

The fourth season of show will continue to focus on the scandalous lives of a sexy and sassy group of girlfriends, each on their own path to self-discovery, ABC revealed in a statement.
