Madam Saje disclosed that though she didn't complete her education because of her love for acting, she could express herself fluently in English language.
Popular Yoruba actress, Fausat Balogun aka Madam Saje has revealed that she often get scirpts from English speaking movies but rejects them for reasons best known to her.
In a recent chat with The Punch, Madam Saje disclosed that though she didn't complete her education because of her love for acting, she could express herself fluently in English language.
In her words, 'Yes, I believe it (completing my education) would have helped my career but I thank God for where I am today. There are a lot of people that are well read but have not achieved what I have achieved today.
'If I had completed my education, I probably would be a regular face in English speaking movies. I can speak English and I also get offers to feature in English speaking films but I reject them most times. I don’t want to do a job I would not be proud of. I thank God for where I am in life,' she reeled out.
Married to a fellow thespian, Rafiu Balogun, Madam Saje said she never envisaged marrying her boss, who later became her hubby because he was in a relationship with a much older woman when she was under his theatre group.
'I never knew I would get married to my boss but God had already ordained that he would be the one I would marry and it happened,' she explained.
