Lota Chukwu shares what she loves and hates about Kiki, her most memorable experience with Funke Akindele on set of "Jenifa's Diary."

According to Chukwu, playing the rich friend of Jenifa on the popular TV series has projected her career faster than she expected.

"I love the fact that she gives everybody a chance. She is very attentive to people's problems, she is a good person deep down.

But, I hate the fact that she lets herself get manipulated. From her back story, she comes from a family that's never around, so she is kind of needy when it comes to other people.

"That's one part of her that I don't really like, but, apart from that, I really like her."

On how playing Kiki has influenced her career

"It has been an amazing springboard for me. It has projected me very fast, it has been an amazing platform for me and has influenced my career very positively.

Most memorable experience with Funke Akindele on set of Jenifa's Diary

"In the beginning when we had just started working, I used to get very nervous on set being around Funke Akindele. I grew up watching her on

"One day, she called me aside and said I should calm down, I should just relax. That day actually turned a lot of things around for me."

Lota Chukwu also spoke about her on and off-screen relationship with Funke Akindele, her fears and challenges as an actor, among other interesting topics.

Lota Chukwu has featured in movies like "Fine Girl," "The Arbitration" and "Dognapped."
