Based on the feature film of same name, the series follows Brian Finch, who discovers the power of a mysterious nootropic drug by the name of NZT-48. This drug unlocks the full potential of the human brain and gives its user enhanced mental faculties.
A direct sequel to the film, which was based on the novel "The Dark Fields," "Limitless" TV series takes place four years after the events of the movie.

The "Limitless" series, which ends its run after 22 episodes, stars Jake McDorman, Jennifer Carpenter, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio and Hill Harper. Craig Sweeny, Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Heather Kadin, Marc Webb, odd Phillips, Ryan Kavanaugh among others.
Bradley Cooper, who led the original film, reprised his role as Morra on four episodes of the series. The feature film version starred Cooper alongside Robert De Niro, Abbie Cornish, Anna Friel and Tomas Arana.
