A new documentary about the job of a bus conductor is set to be released soon. The upcoming production called “Nigerians Speak On Bus Conductors” is directed by Peter Oke.

A newly released prelude featurette for the forthcoming feature shows different sides of Lagos, Nigeria including Marina, Victoria Island and Obalende.

In the 10 minutes clip, which is in a vox pop format, sees Lagosians air their views about bus conductors. The conductors who are the core focus of this production also speak about what their job entails.

Being a conductor, you don’t need to be gentle anyway”, says one of them in the clip. The full version of the documentary is set to be released later in the year.

Oke is the son of veteran broadcaster Patrick Oke. Watch the documentary in the video above.
