Filmmaker wins 'Nollywood man of the year' award

Nigerian renowned film-maker, Kunle Afolayan has been named Sun Newspaper's 'Nollywood man of the year'.

The Sun Newspaper on Saturday, January 17 2015, named renowned and award winning filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan 'Nollywood Man of the Year'.

The filmmaker received the award at the annual Sun Awards which held at the Eko Hotels and suites. The Sun Awards is aimed at celebrating of 19 outstanding Nigerians.

The 2015 edition of The Sun Awards was attended by Kunle Afolayan, Tuface Idibia, Chika Ike, Don Jazzy, amongst others.

Kunle has produced award winning movies like 'October 1', 'The Figurine', 'Irapada', and 'Phone Swap'.  Congratulations to the Nollywood icon.
