In this exclusive interview with Pulse Nigeria, the actress spoke on market films and cinema films.
Comparing the two, the actress stated that films sold in the open market have wider reach than cinema movies.
"Statistically, not a lot of people actually go to the cinemas to watch movies," she started .
"If you compare the number of people who buy DVDs in the open market, and people who actually walk into the cinema to watch a movie, it's by a long margin. The difference is actually clear."
"I have done a few market films as they are called, and I actually noticed that the reach is quite longer than cinema films."
"Cinema films actually speak to people who want more top notch productions. We have ‘new Nollywood’ producers who give that, but I don’t think the reach is as long as the market, which if I think of it as an actor, it would probably pay me more to be looking at the market."
