Watch actor in “100 Streets” trailer

The British actor is a man on the verge of losing everything in this new drama.

Idris Elba in 100  Streets

The film’s trailer released by Samuel Goldwyn Films shows Elba’s character, a sports star who seems to be losing it all as he gets involved with drugs, alcohol and womanizing.

The trailer gets intense when Max finds out his wife is cheating on him and he eventually gets violent.

“100 Streets” is directed by Jim O’Hanlon. It also stars Gemma Arterton, Franz Drameh, Ken Stott, Kierston Wareing and Charles Creed-Miles.

Here’s the synopsis shared in the description box of the trailer:

"100 STREETS, a powerful ensemble drama, follows three contrasting and interwoven stories as they play out in one square mile of modern day London. A former rugby player, Max struggles to find a life off the field while fighting to save his marriage to former actress Emily (played by Arterton)".

Elba is known for his role in films like “Thor” and “ Beast of No Nation”. “100 Streets” is already out in the United Kingdom. It comes out in American theatres on January 13, 2017.
