Malala Yousafzai is the youngest-ever Nobel Laurette, and the documentary 'He Named Me Malala' tells her story.

 

The trailer for Davis Guggenheim’s documentary 'He Named Me Malala' which tells the story of Nobel Peace Prize recipient, Malala Yousafzai's battle for equal rights is here.

"I'm still 17. I'm still a teenager," Yousafzai said in the opening moments. "There is a moment where you have to choose whether to be silent or to stand up," she adds.

"There’s a moment when you have to choose whether to be silent or to stand up,” Malala Yousafzai says in trailer.

The Pakistani activist who turned 18 this past July, is the youngest-ever Nobel Prize laureate.

The documentary will open in theatres on October 2, 2015, three years after the Taliban shot Malala for advocating the right of girls to an education.

The anticipated documentary will also be aired in 171 countries, and 45 languages by National Geographic in 2015.
