It's just few days before ABC's 'Grey's Anatomy' returns without Derek Shepherd , and the new trailer proves everything would be different.
On Thursday, September 24, 2015, 'Grey's Anatomy' will return for its 12th season, but of course without Patrick Dempsey, whose character, Dr. Derek Shepherd, was killed off toward the end of Season 11.
In the recently released trailer, Ellen Pompeo's Meredith Grey's character is heard saying "You are about to find out that everything has changed."
Fans should also expect a little of physical violence from the surgeons of Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital, as the 21-second spot features Maggie (Kelly McCreary) punching a woman in the face while at the hospital.
In an episode written by Shonda Rhimes, Dempsey's character was killed off after he was hit by a truck.
Dempsey, who of course played Derek for 11 seasons, released a statement to TVLine, saying;
“It’s been a remarkable ride. The worldwide impact has been extraordinary. It is incredible how devoted and passionate the fans are and I will forever be grateful and humbled by the experience.”
How excited are you about the show without McDreamy?
