Gifty finally admits that she was once married, breaks down in tears as she advises young girls.
In an interview with HIP TV [watch below], Gifty reveals that the marriage rumours are true.
Breaking down in tears, she also advised young women out there.
"Yes, I was once married," said Gifty. "It's a dark part of my life that I don't wanna ever go back."
Advising young girls, the former Big Brother Naija housemate said, "My advice to every young girl out there is, before you go into marriage, you have to physically, mentally, emotionally and psychologically ready."
"I was naive. I was 19, I didn't know what the whole marriage thing was all about. It felt like entering into adulthood overnight."
"The marriage was only traditionally recognized, we didn't do court wedding, it wasn't legal. Although we did the traditional and white wedding, there was no court wedding, the bride price was retuned."
"What I experienced, if you're watching, I don't wish for you to experience it."
In an interview with Pulse Nigeria, Gifty had addressed her alleged sex tape and marriage allegations saying, "I don't have a sex tape, I don't have a husband, I don't have nothing." (Watch interview below).
Also, recently, Augustine Akumah who claimed to be a cousin to her supposed husband, David Sorochukwu Akumah, released photos from the reality star's wedding.
According to Augustine, the couple had separated due to irreconcilably differences over Gifty's 'cheating Life while still in her husband’s house."
Gifty had responded to his allegations and photos via Instagram, describing them as fake rumour.
On February 19, 2017, Gifty became the fourth housemate to get evicted from the Big Brother Naija reality show.
