AMAA to Reward Journalists with $10,000 for its 10th Year Anniversary

African journalists rejoice! AMAA is giving you the chance to win $ 10,000.

As part of its 10th Year Anniversary celebration, the African Movie Academy Awards has announced that it will be rewarding 3 African journalists.

The reward is for journalists who have covered AMAA in the past 9 years.

According to a statement by AMAA, the competition is open to print, broadcast and online journalists from Africa and in the diaspora.

Prospective media representatives are expected to submit two original feature stories on the activities of AMAA within the past 9 years. All entries are to be sent to media@ama-awards.com on or before the deadline Monday 31st March 2014.

A panel of media professionals will assess all entries to decide the winners.

The First prize winner will receive a whooping sum of $5,000, while the second and third prize winners will receive $3,000 and $2,000 respectively.
