According to a report by Variety, Kim Basinger is in the talks with Universal to play Elena Lincoln, also known as Mrs Robinson in the upcoming sequel, "Fifty Shades Darker."
The character of Lincoln was hinted at in the first installment as Grey's former lover and business partner, who introduced him to kinky sex.
The two upcoming "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequels - "Fifty Shades Darker," and "Fifty Shades Freed" will shoot back-to-back in 2016.
The sequels which will have Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson return as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, are based on the worldwide bestselling “Fifty Shades” by E.L James.
