Fausat 'Madam Saje' Balogun Yoruba actress celebrates 40 years in acting

Balogun celebrated her 40th year on stage in the company of many industry colleagues and musicians, who gathered to honour the veteran actress.

Popular Yoruba actress, Fausat Balogun, also known as 'Madam Saje', celebrated her 40 years on stage with a glamorous party held at Time Square Event Centre, located in Ikeja, Lagos.

Many top Nollywood actors were at the event to celebrate the life-time achievement with the talented actress, who has been a mother to many.

Balogun starred as Mama Saje in a 1990 television series titled 'Erin Kee Kee', and has went on to feature in over 80 movies since then.

She is married to fellow actor Rafiu Balogun, who was her boss before they married.

Fausat Balogun was born on February 13, 1959 in Kwara State, Nigeria. She is an actress, known for "Òmìn" (2008), "Omo Pupa" (2008) and "Òfin Mósè" (2006).
