The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse II, has showered encomium on Nollywood actor, Ejike Asiegbu for re-enacting the character of Olu Akengbuwa in a stage play by Alex Eyengho.

Asiegbu and Eyengho were said to have both received the blessings which was supported by the equally impressed Warri chiefs who praised the actor's role interpretation skill.

After playing the role of Olu Akengbuwa, in the historical play staged to commemorate the 28th anniversary of the coronation of the Warri monarch in Warri, Delta State, Asiegbu was recalled to the palace for blessings from the impressed monarch.
Also on the stage with Ejike Asiegbu were Nobert Young, Raphael-Niyi Stevens, Victoria Ajomeyinje and Matel Alex-Eyengho.
Olu Akengbuwa was the 16th Olu of Warri and the last Warri monarch before the 88 years interregnum in the ancient kingdom. He was the longest occupier of the Warri throne and the wealthiest of all the Olus of Warri of his time.
