"I love theatre and film, but I think I prefer Theatre, because you get real reactions, and it’s just live," Dorcas Shola Fapson.
Dorcas Shola Fapson, who plays Sophie in the MTV hit series"Shuga" was recently a guest at the Pulse TV studio.
In an exclusive chat, the actress spoke on why she prefers the stage to screen. She also spoke on her first time in Nigeria.
On theatre versus film;
"I love theatre and film, but I think I prefer Theatre. Because you get real reactions, and it’s just live, and you can hear if people find something funny, or they hate. Like you just get real life reactions, so it’s more of an interaction thing.
"But film is just like ‘ok you make a mistake, do it again. But theatre, once you’ve done it, it’s out. Like it’s just boom bang bang, you have to be on point. I don’t know, I get excited when people react live."
In the interview, the actress also spoke on her first visit to Nigeria. According to her, she was thirteen when she visited Nigeria.
"I came here for a 2-week holiday, and I ended up staying here for 9 months, because I was naughty and was kicked out of school," she said.
