It's still Thursday and we are throwing it back to one movie every Nigerian who knows Nollywood is familiar with.

1. Richard Mofe Damijo has always been handsome, and having a dead son didn’t change that in "Diamond Ring."

2. The movie was directed by Tade Ogidan, who also directed hit and entertaining movies like “Dangerous Twins,” “Saving Alero,” “Hostages,” among others.

3. The movie starred Tuju Babyface (Teju Gbade- Oyelakin) as the young smart Chidi, who was cajoled by his friends to join a cult group. To prove his worthiness, he was instructed to rob from a corpse.

5. Who can forget how the movie had us tensed as we counted the hours and minutes with Chief Dike(RMD) and his family, hoping Chidi wouldn’t meet his untimely end - And Chidi’s mum and all her emotional moments? “Diamond Ring” remains one of those unforgettable Nollywood movies ever.
