"The Walking Dead" actress to play Tupac's mum in biopic, "All Eyez on Me"

"The Walking Dead" actress, Danai Gurira, has been cast as Tupac's mother, Afeni Shakur, inupcoming rapper's biopic.

The undefinedhas cast "Walking Dead" actress, Danai Gurira as Afeni Shakur in the upcoming Tupac biopic, All Eyez on Me.

According to Deadline, the actress will play Tupac's mother, Afenui, who is a complex woman. A political activist and member of the Black Panthers. Afeni raised her son to be a voracious reader with a political awareness that informed his development as a street poet.

Recently, newcomer Demetrius Shipp Jr. was casted as the legendary rapper. Demetrius took to his Twitter account to share the news.

Also, Jamal Woolard, has been cast as Shakur’s friend turned rival, rapper Christopher Wallace, AKA The Notorious B.I.G.
