Cynthia Erivo is set to star alongside Chris Hemsworth and Jeff Bridges in an upcoming film, "Bad Times at the El Royale."

The 30-year-old British-Nigerian, who is already an Emmy, Grammy, and Tony winner, will sing and act in the upcoming film.

The actress will star alongside Chris Hemsworth and Jeff Bridges in the thriller directed by Drew Goddard.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is set at a run-down hotel near California’s Lake Tahoe named the El Royale and centers on a cast of characters whose own shady agenda will violently collide.

Erivo will play a down-on-her-luck singer who happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Born to Nigerian parents in Stockwell, South London, Erivo is known for her performance as Celie in the 2015 Broadway revival of The Color Purple.

It won her the 2016 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical as well as the 2017 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.

Her performance on The Today Show earned her and the cast a Daytime Creative Emmy.

Erivo is making her feature debut in Steve McQueen's "Widows" alongside Viola Davis and Liam Neeson. She is also expected to play Harriet Tubman in the biopic "Harriet."

She is also staring in the animated cartoon TV series "The Boss Baby," which is based on the film.
