Watch drama film trailer starring Desmond Elliot, Ini Edo, Patience Ozokwor

A young woman is raped and left for dead, this new movie under direction from Emem Isong explores the journey of a girl's experience in dealing with this and facing the society.

 

"Code of Silence" is set to make its debut in cinemas across Nigeria on Friday, 7 August, 2015.

The movie by Royal Arts Academy in conjunction with Nollywood Workshop features Ini Edo, Patience Ozorkwor, Desmond Elliot, Omoni Oboli, Amaechi Muonagor, Shawn Faqua and Makida Moka.

The drama film is about a young girl, Adanma who was ganged raped by two men on her way home from school and left for dead. The movie explores the psychological battle she goes through as her family refuses to report the incident to the police.

"Code of Silence" was produced and directed by Emem Isong. Bola Aduwo, who was the associate producer on the project, brought the story and original screenplay to life.
