News channel under attack for addressing Kenya as 'terror hotbed'

Using the hashtag #SomeoneTellCNN, Kenyans have criticized the representation of their country as a 'terror hotbed' by CNN.

International news channel, CNN, is facing backlash for their misrepresentation of an African country, this time around, Kenya.

Kenyans have taken to social media to blast the news channel after they referred to the country as a 'terror hotbed'.

Using the hastag  #SomeoneTellCNN, Twittersphere went into an attack mode after broadcaster referred to Kenya as a 'hotbed' with “questionable security concerns worse than Iraq and Afghanistan”.

After the show, a report on the website stated“President Barack Obama is not just heading to his father's homeland, but to a hotbed of terror.”
